There might be ARM compatible boards and even SoC types, but it's plain hard to find. And you won't get any good response from h/w shops either. I tried to get some stuff a couple of years ago and it didn't work. My idea is that you should try to order stuff from online stores. For example try eBay. If the shipment is small enough in size, you won't have any trouble with tax and other matters. I can recommend a couple of nice small scale and cheap embedded products, but I'm not sure if they ship to SL. Check their websites. I'll give the links. 1. SheevaPlug SoC - http://www.plugcomputer.org/ 2. Beagle Board - http://beagleboard.org/ Both are suitable for embedded Linux and both have their own Linux SDKs. And both have ARM compatible processors. SheevaPlug is $99 and has the more powerful processor and packs more punch. Beagle Board costs about $149 and has a wider following. Those are the best (price and power wise) ARM compatible kits I know of. If you need x86 you might have better luck in finding within the country.
