this is what i have dine
first of all i remove all pulseaudio coz pulse audio is notlisting any of my sound cards

then compile alsa drivers libs and utils manually

then i append following lines at the end of

/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf


options snd slots=snd-hda-intel
options snd-hda-intel model=hp-m4
alias snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel
options snd-hda-intel enable_msi=1

then i re install all pulse audio


Now all sounds work fine but unintended flicking beep appears at periodic intervals
 cannot find where it comes from

please help me to find this periodic beep . cannot figure out what it is

i checked logs no sign of it

i installed FEDORA 11 on my laptop and still my sound seems not working . Head phone is working but no sound comes form speakers.

please help me with this issue

Any way i can get drivers for my soundcard.
